Exciting news!  My first novel, Food, Girls, and Other Things I Can’t Have, is in bookstores now.  Food, Girls is the humorous and heartbreaking story of a fat teenage boy who discovers a hidden talent for football (and a not-so-hidden talent for eating donuts by the carton).

Publisher’s Weekly says, “Boy makeover books are rare, and this one is a gem.”  School Library Journal calls it “thoughtful and refreshing” and YA Books Central says, “a fun and hilarious romp through high school”.  I say that doesn’t sound like my high school experience at all, but it describes the book pretty well. :)
