Yes. But you need a ChatGPT Plus subscription to access them. This is a limitation of OpenAI and the tech, not my preference.
Will the AI write my book or script for me?
No, and you shouldn’t expect it to. Think of the AI tools as collaborators, assistants, or even colleagues. Let them inspire your work and take it in different directions, but don’t expect it to do the work for you. You are the author and creator of your own writing, and it’s your vision that guides the AI.
Can you see what I write?
No. I can’t see what you write or even if you’re using my AI Writing Tool. Nothing passes through to the developer at this time, so your work is your own. But please reach out and let me know your experience. And please rate the tool on ChatGPT to help other writers find it!

My AI isn’t working as advertised. What should I do?
Best practice with all Generative AI is to first look at your prompt. Get more specific. Give context. Provide an example. (“Write a story about a princess” vs “Write a short dramatic scene for my fantasy screenplay where an embittered princess tries to escape from a tower where she is being kept prisoner.”) If different prompts don’t work, send me a note!

Why are you on the AI bandwagon? Isn’t it going to take our jobs?
First and foremost, I’m a working writer, so I’ve got skin in the game, just like you. As for AI, it’s natural to fear a new and powerful technology, but I am a curious—if cautious—optimist. AI is not magic; it’s a tool that can enhance and even transform our creative process. In my opinion it can be used ethically and fairly. My best suggestion is to try it, and try the AI Tools I’ve created. You’ll quickly come to understand what it can do—and the very real limitations. You’ll also see that AI has no distinct point of view and no lived experience to share—it’s following your vision and voice—so you remain the author and creator of your work.
